Reed was a faculty instructor at the Second Latin American Natural Products Genome Mining Workshop at the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas in Valenciana, Guanajuato, Mexico. The Latin American Natural Product Genome Mining Workshop aims to engage with early career researchers across Latin America to explore biodiversity through genomics, metabolomics, and machine learning.
Reed gave a lecture on the Ecology and Evolution of Natural Products. He also presented a seminar on curent work in the laboratory from Madeline, Sydney, and Niladri.
