This year Reed presented a poster titled “Secondary Metabolite-Mediated Interspecies Interactions Among Cystic Fibrosis Pathogens” at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Pharmacognosy (ASP) in Grand Rapids, MI. This poster covered research performed by Niladri and Sydney, focusing on competitive interactions between cystic fibrosis pathogens and antibiotic discovery from cystic-fibrosis-associated bacteria, respectively.
This was the first time our laboratory has attended ASP. It was great meeting up with old friends and making new friends in the natural products field. We will be back next year!
