We are excited to announce that our review article on natural products in the cystic fibrosis (CF) airway is out today in Natural Product Reports! In this review, we describe the antimicrobials, siderophores, signaling molecules, toxins, and other virulence factors produced by CF pathogens. In total, we cover the biosynthesis of over 50 compounds and their roles in microbial interactions and disease in the CF airway. This review represents several years of work that Reed started during his postdoc and completed together with Niladri.
