The Stubbendieck Lab Presents at the Midwest Microbial Pathogenesis Conference

Niladri presenting his talk at the Midwest Microbial Pathogenesis Conference.

Madeline, Niladri, and Reed represented the Stubbendieck Lab at this year’s Midwest Microbial Pathogenesis Conference in Minneapolis, MN! Madeline presented her work on the nasal mutualist Dolosigranulum pigrum and Reed presented our work on antagonistic interactions between cystic fibrosis pathogens during the poster session.

Niladri was honored as one of six graduate students that were supported by a fellowship to attend the conference and give an oral presentation. Niladri’s talk was titled, “Siderophore-Mediated Competition Between Cystic Fibrosis Pathogens Increases Virulence Factor Production” and described his forthcoming work on interactions between Achromobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Niladri presented just two days after passing his Ph.D. candidacy exam! Congrats Niladri! We are proud of you!
